Help with my new hamster...?

the hamster should warm up to you eventually, mine did after a couple days, my hamster loves carrots and lettuce with a pion, but if you give them those yogurt drops, they will be your best friend forever, im not too sure about the whole air conditioner, i have mine at around 72 all the time and mines fine, but when you walk into your room and you get hit with like a humongous icy burst of air, you might want to turn it down, they get cold allot easier than we do
