Can i change my job while in the DEP, Airforce?

I have a really bad recruiter, who does not keep me in the loop, lies to me, and just all around is dragging me along. I was given aerospace controls and warning systems and a ship date, i originally intended on going to be a firefighter but i could only lift 80lbs instead of 100 over my head so that disqualified me. but that was a one time thing and i didnt know i needed to lift because my recruiter did not tell me. i know easily if i do that part over again i can p now that ive been working out. even though i have a shipdate which is a while away in september, can i ask my recruiter to change jobs? what do i have to say? because ive seen my recruiter lie to my face and i would just like to know the specifics, advice much appreciatedd.
